Cookies and privacy choices
Device storage and what happens when you play a trailer.

Theme preference
The hex-theme cookie remembers light or dark mode for up to one year. Local storage also retains the preference until cleared or replaced. Change it with the Lights control.
Sign-in and recovery
Access, refresh and session-preference cookies support authentication and are HTTP-only. By default they are session cookies. Persistent sign-in allows refresh and preference cookies for up to 30 days; the access cookie follows its token lifetime. Recovery uses a separate restricted cookie. Signing out clears session cookies.
Returning after signup
HEX keeps the page you were viewing on this device so confirmation can bring you back. This navigation context expires after one hour and is cleared when used; it contains no passwords, email links or form contents.
Local previews
The private build can retain interface state and locally previewed profile photos on your device. Clearing site data can remove local-only work or sign you out, but does not delete account data. Complete the key-by-key inventory before launch.
External media
Playing a trailer connects to YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. That mode is not a promise of no processing or cookies. Remote imagery can send technical information to its host. Final consent and embed behaviour require verification before launch.
Optional technologies
This work introduces no analytics, advertising or tracking service. Any optional technology added later needs a documented purpose, retention and appropriate user choice before activation. No non-functional consent switches are presented here.
